Etesia announces New finance options

Etesia UK announces finance options

Etesia UK has announced affordable lease and hire purchase finance options to allow its customers flexibility when purchasing new Etesia and Pellenc machinery.

Designed to give buyers the power to enjoy their Etesia and/or Pellenc machinery straight away, the easy payment plans are designed to help customers buy or lease the most up-to-date machines that they want without compromising cash flow.

Through Etesia’s finance partners, Timali Finance, they are now able to offer customers a range of finance products, allowing them to spread the capital outlay over three years or less.

Not only will they offer some of the most competitive rates around, but they will also tailor each package to suit your individual budget requirements.

All Etesia and Pellenc machines come with a commercial three year warranty ensuring that during the finance period, customers will have full peace of mind.

If a three year lease package was chosen, there are then four options available to customers after the three year period is over:

Return. Return the products at no extra cost.

Retain. Continue leasing the products.

Renew. Start a new lease agreement with new products.

Recycle. Purchase the products for a nominal fee.

To illustrate, a Pellenc Excelion 2000 ‘Cow-handle’ Brushcutter (with tapcut head), Pellenc Airion Blower, Pellenc Helion Hedgecutter + 75cm cutting blade with a Pellenc ULB110 (1100 Battery) to power all of the tools leased over three years, would cost approx £32.44 per week which is less than most operators would spend on petrol in a week.

You could not only protect the environment by using battery-powered tools, but also protect your finances.

After the three year period, simply choose one of the Return, Retain, Renew or Recycle options.

Commenting on the launch of the Etesia finance options Les Malin, Operations Director for Etesia UK said: “We have looked at the best way to help our customers with the purchase of new machinery. There are plenty of good finance companies in the market but we wanted to offer our customers something different and with some added value.”

Etesia Strengthen Scottish Dealer Network

New Scottish dealer for Etesia

Etesia UK has strengthened its Scottish dealer network with the appointment Forth Grass Machinery as its newest dealer. The company will cover the Fife and Lothian regions with immediate effect.

With over twenty years in the grounds maintenance industry, Crawford Jewell established Forth Grass Machinery seven years ago. Based in Dunfermline, the company will market the Etesia pedestrian, ride-on and brushcutter product range to both professional and residential customers.

Favoured by many of the UK’s top councils as well as landscapers and groundsmen, including National Trust gardens, both Etesia has gained a reputation for producing equipment that is highly reliable with low maintenance, making them the number one choice for many users.

Crawford Jewell, Forth Grass Machinery Director, commented: “For over 20 years Etesia has been providing customers with premium professional grass maintenance machinery. It was a brand that we have enquired about a number of times before and fits perfectly with what we want to achieve as a company.

“Andrew Roberts (Northern Area Sales Manager for Etesia UK) will help us to establish the brand within our region and has already assisted us with onsite demonstrations to our customers – which we feel is very important.”

Les Malin, Operations Director for Etesia UK commented, “We are delighted to be welcoming Forth Grass Machinery into our already successful dealer network. They are an established business, with excellent knowledge of their territory and business sectors and will be vital in the push to expand our business growth in the region, going forward.”

New Pellenc Dealer for Hampshire

Mid Hants Mowers become new Pellenc dealer

Etesia, the exclusive distributor of Pellenc battery-powered equipment in the UK, has announced Hampshire based Mid Hants Mowers as a new Pellenc dealer.

Established in 1978, Mid Hants Mowers provide sales, servicing, collection and a break down service for all types of domestic garden machinery, professional ground care and arboriculture tree care. Based at the beautiful Hartley Park Farm in Alton, Mid Hants Mowers has a fully stocked show room with a comprehensive selection of top brand machinery, which is complimented by good honest advice to help you select the right machine to match all your requirements.

The company has gone from strength to strength over the years, with managing directors Saul Ross and Simon Clarke seeing an increase in both members of staff and business. Their success can, in part, be attributed to their forward thinking approach which sees them embracing new technologies such as the Pellenc battery powered products.

After listening to their customers, Saul decided the time was right to introduce the Pellenc brand.

“We’ve been asked about the battery products over and over again and to meet our customers’ needs we actually started stocking some products from another company. These were fine for domestic use but we’ve started kitting out a few professional arborists and the feedback I was getting was that they just were not good enough. They said that they didn’t want twenty batteries to last a day – they wanted one battery to last the whole day without sacrificing on performance. The products we were offering were not commercial products and this is why we chose to bring in Pellenc.”

The addition of the Pellenc range of equipment will present Mid Hants Mowers customers with a lighter, odourless, noise-free and more cost effective alternative to petrol powered machinery. Not only will users see improved performance but they will also be contributing to protecting the environment by reducing the consumption of fossil fuels and noise pollution.

“A lot of our customers work in private schools and orchards so this equipment will be perfect for them. The Pellenc products have clearly been developed for the commercial market and I can’t fault any of them. When you’ve got them in your hands, they just feel like premium products suitable for the commercial market or even for top-end domestic use. In fact we have got a few domestic customers who have been waiting for the products to come in, so I’ll be arranging demos for them straight away.

“Here at Mid Hants Mowers we like to offer something for everybody and this is why we very much go with the good, better and best theory. The intention is to put Pellenc up on the best pedestal because we have every confidence in these products,” said Simon.

Simon has every right to place his confidence in Pellenc: The emergence of Pellenc in the UK over recent years has been phenomenal with over 50 dealers now stocking the battery powered products in various parts of the country.

It certainly is an exciting time for Mid Hants Mowers and Saul believes that green technology will play an even bigger role in the future.

“Green technology is the future without a shadow of a doubt. Simon and I are both fully aware that it is going to take over. We are forward thinking enough to realise that it’s coming and in fact it’s already upon us. More and more contractors are eager to speak about it and we’ve certainly noticed that the ones who are willing to take on these new technologies are the ones who are winning the contracts.”

For further information, please contact Etesia UK on 01295 680120 or visit where you can also find more information on Pellenc which is sold exclusively in the UK by Etesia UK.

Two new dealerships added to Etesia UK

Etesia UK has added to its ever-growing network of dealers after announcing two new dealerships for Somerset and Northumberland.

Etesia has been leading the way in building high quality grass cutting machinery for both the professional and domestic market since 1989. Over the years the company has grown rapidly and now offers a wide range of products that include a variety of walk-behind, ride-on mowers and the popular Attila range of brush cutters.

With the products in such high demand, Etesia boasts a large dealership network who all provide their customers with innovative solutions to their landscaping requirements. The company has also become a key supplier to local authorities and landscape contractors throughout Europe, and it is for this reason that new dealer Northumbrian Garden Machinery decided to join the vast network.

“We wanted to work with Etesia because we needed a product that was a commercial brand,” said managing director George Aspin. “I first came across Etesia at a previous SALTEX exhibition and then I spoke to a few other dealerships who said that the products were really popular.

“Then by chance, a contractor came in looking to replace his Etesia pedestrian mower and that’s when I saw an opportunity.”

George seized the opportunity and will now sell, service and repair the vast range of Etesia products from his showroom and workshop in Alnwick. A local family business covering Northumberland and the Scottish Borders, Northumbrian Garden Machinery mainly caters for the domestic user.

However, George is seeing an increasing amount of business in the commercial market, and he believes he now has the perfect brand to meet their requirements.

“The Etesia products come with a three year warranty and they’re the Aston Martin of lawn mowers. They are well designed, stand out above the competition and they sell themselves really,” he said.

Tom Williams Garden & Estate Machinery, previous winner of New Etesia Dealer of Year, has also returned to the dealership network after a short absence. Established in 1997, the company specialises in sales, hire, repairs and servicing of garden and estate machinery. Owner Tom Williams is looking forward to building upon a successful first spell.

“It’s good coming back into the Etesia camp after being away for a little while. I’ve always liked the products as they do exactly what they say they will do and will cut and collect in any condition – that’s what makes them stand out for me.
There are a lot of products that are all in the same ball park in terms of price but you could argue that the Etesia products are a lot better than the rest out there.

“Certainly, what we’ve found is that the customers who have bought them previously will buy the same products again – they’re that good.”

Etesia’s Robot Mower is The ‘Extra Man’ For Forest Green Rovers FC

Forest Green Rovers praise Etesia ETMower

The new head groundsman at Forest Green Rovers FC, Matt Rainey, has praised Etesia’s ETMower claiming that it is like having an extra member of staff.

Forest Green Rovers FC, based in Stroud, Gloucestershire, is striving to become the most sustainable football club in the world and has already taken measurable steps to ensure this happens: The club is the proud owner of the world’s first organic football pitch, solar power is installed on the stadium roof, every drop of water is recycled via a water harvesting system and the team kit is even washed in phosphate-free washing powder.

As you can imagine – keeping Co2 emissions at an absolute minimum is extremely important to a club like Forest Green Rovers, and this is where Etesia’s ETMower comes in.

The state-of-the-art robotic mower, which is also used by Bayern Munich FC in Germany, considerably reduces the cost of pitch maintenance, not only in terms of labour and maintenance costs, but also by cutting energy bills. Co2 emissions are also much lower than conventional powered petrol/diesel mowers and Matt believes that the machine, who he affectionately calls ‘Mow’, perfectly fits within the club’s philosophy.

“Mow costs us absolutely nothing to use because it simply charges from the solar panels on the roof of the stadium. Energy consumption is kept to a minimum and there’s no fuel or noise to deal with which is a lot better for the environment.

“It also mulches the grass so it means that Mow is putting all the goodness of the grass back into the soil. It ticks every box that we adhere to at the club.”

Matt, who originally started his career at the club, re-joined Forest Green Rovers in July this year and that was when he was first introduced to the ETMower. His relationship with ‘Mow’ got off to the best possible start when he realised that the powerful robotic mower would play a key role in his pre-season preparations.

“Because of ‘Mow’s’ weight, you can cut much earlier in the season compared with any other piece of machinery – potentially up to fourteen days earlier.
“After the pitch has been seeded, you’d normally have to wait until the grass is 40-45mm before physically going onto the pitch with rotary mowers but with ‘Mow’ you can put him on at 20mm. It’s great because it speeds things up, establishes the roots, and it can work in conditions that you can’t. I can’t work in torrential rain for example but ‘Mow’ can.”

As Matt says, the ETMower can work constantly for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year in most weather conditions. Once the area to be covered has been marked out by a low voltage peripheral cable buried in the ground, the ETmower gets to work automatically, according to your programming. No human intervention is required, meaning that groundsmen like Matt have more time to focus on other important tasks.

“Mow is a great tool to have in the shed because it can do things that groundsmen can’t. He also significantly frees up my time. At Forest Green Rovers, we focus on our soil biology so our aeration programme is a lot more intense than others are. Feeding regimes are organic so we are always applying something and then there is the stadium maintenance as well. We’ve also got an outside remit which involves attending to the growth of wildflowers. For a club at our level the ETMower is my extra man – ‘Mow’ is my assistant and he never complains either!”

While ‘Mow’ may not complain, the ETMower does however send you and SMS text message to let you know of any incident it may encounter indicating exactly what the problem is. Also, if it needs to recharge its batteries, it automatically goes to its charging station and resumes mowing once it is fully charged.

There are three models in the range – the ETm44 for work up to 5,000m², ETm65 for work up to 9,000m² and the ETm105 for work up to 20,000m².
