Etesia Launch Five New Products
Among a range of new product launches from Etesia this autumn are two high quality professional rotary mowers, two domestic pedestrian lawn mowers and a new revolutionary electric wheel barrow.
The PKCTM 46cm and LKCGM 53cm models join the Duocut range. Both machines are available with mulching inserts ensuring that users can use one machine for a multitude of different tasks – cut and collect, cut and drop or mulch.
The PKCTM model is a single speed machine equipped with a 6HP Kawasaki KAI-FS181 engine and comes complete with a long range fuel tank making it ideal for mobile grass cutting teams who require a machine to last all day without re-fuelling, whilst the LKCGM model is equipped with a 6HP Kawasaki KAI-FS180 engine and has three speeds – 2.7, 3.5 and 4.5km/h.
Supplied with a 50 litre grass box, the PKCTM has seven cutting height settings, which are quickly adjustable from 28-85mm and Xenoy reinforced cutting deck. The LKCGM model has an 80 litre grass box with cutting height adjustment 25-85mm and an aluminium cutting deck.
Two new electric models aimed at the domestic market complete the range of new Duocut models now available, which are very competitively priced from just £249 +VAT. The VECS and NECTS are also available with mulching inserts ensuring that gardeners can complete a range of tasks to suit their individual needs.
The VECS is a 1300W push model with eight cutting height settings, which are quickly adjustable using one lever from 20-60mm. The NECTS model is a 1500W single speed (3km) model with seven cutting height settings from 25-85mm and comes complete with Xenoy cutting deck for added robustness.
Completing the new product launches is the new revolutionary 100% electric wheel barrow which is available with a range of attachments that can tackle a wide variety of jobs.
Power comes from a 24V 1000W battery with two forward and two reverse speeds. Fitted with either wheels or ‘caterpillar tracks’, this is a truly a multi-function, ‘go anywhere’ tool, which can transport heavy material in the skip section and water or liquid material in the tank section, be used as a raised work bench by folding down the side panels, transport tools in the tool rack and be used to tip waste material.
Optional accessories available include a snow blade, scarifier, side extension / side rail and spray lance.

Once again, Pellenc is proving that it is technologically ahead of the field with the launch of its Excelion 2000 ‘cow-horn’ handle professional brushcutter, sold exclusively in the UK by Etesia.
As with all other Pellenc products, the Excelion 2000 uses the ultra-high capacity technology of the Pellenc lithium battery and guarantees non-polluting, odourless operation with quick start-up and up to 4.5 hrs of continuous operation.
As part of Devon Council’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint, South Hams District Council has purchased a range of Pellenc battery-powered grounds maintenance equipment. The new machines, supplied and supported by local dealer Radmore and Tucker are already showing significant savings in fuel expenditure and also considerable environmental advantages.
“We only have to pay for electricity to charge the battery, so the fuel costs are next to zero and the range is greater compared to petrol so even before we do our analysis at the end of the season we know that our fuel efficiency is much better. Equally important, of course, is the reduction in our carbon footprint,” said David Burkes, charge hand gardener for South Hams District Council.

National grounds management company Glendale has confirmed its commitment to quality by recently purchasing a range of 60 Etesia Pro 46 models, increasing their fleet to around 300 Etesia machines.
RHS Wisley has purchased a range of environmentally-friendly battery-powered Pellenc equipment to keep tree & hedge cover along with grass clippings & debris in check, quietly and without fumes.
This year’s weather has seen rain alternating with spells of warm, dry sunshine – the ideal conditions for encouraging grass, weeds, saplings and other unwanted plants to grow strong and lush. Holywell-Cum-Needingworth Parish Council in Cambridgeshire has chosen Etesia’s Attila 98X four-wheel-drive ride-on brushcutter to clear this sort of overgrown vegetation.
The 35-acre Polesden Lacey National Trust property on the North Downs at Great Bookham, Surrey, one of the Trust’s most popular properties, is now using Pellenc battery-powered equipment to keep tree & hedge cover and grass verges in check, quietly and without fumes.
Nottingham City Council has taken delivery of eight new Etesia PRO46 pedestrian mowers to maintain the large parks located throughout the area, which brings the fleet size to over 40 mixed Etesia machines in all.
Etesia UK southern area sales manager Ian Collington will be walking 37 miles of Ivanhoe Way in 15 hours for the Wishes 4 Kids charity.
